Sandy Beach july 5th

Good start for the 3rd contest of USBA Tour in Half Point, Sandy Beach/HI, the waves was pretty fun between 2-3', Me and Top Riders Spencer Skipper, Hubbard Brothers, Romero Brothers, Happy Z., Rex Moribe, Bud Myamoto, Kona Kuailani, Colin Black, Abraham Concepsion, Jason and Roberta Bitzer, Leila Alli, Claudia Ferrari, Carol Casemiro, Juliana Freitas and much more competed, Ben Severson, Keith Sazaki and Duda got the responsability to judge the contest, Senor Frog's, National Guard, Scion, Body Glove, Vitamin Water and others help to realize the contest which is celebrating 20th aniversary, much respect for all generations who have been competing, organizing or simply watched the Bodyboarding Show in Sandys...keep posted with the news in Oahu here...Aloha...

    Awesome pictures! I just recently took up bodyboarding and I love it. My Bodyboard has become my best friend. When I get tired I can rely on it to keep my above the waters and just enjoy the weather, water and scenery.

It's been a little over 12 months since the island of Tavarua had exclusive access to the waves of Cloudbreak and Restaurants in Fiji lifted.  Just 12 months ago the Fijian government stepped up, opening access to the wave for anyone, not just guests of the resort. Tavarua also dropped their prices just a touch, so the island's steadily been at capacity since. This also meant that the latest swell the island's been pounded by was ripe for anyone with enough braves to get a piece of it.

Margaret River, West Australia April 11th – 20th 2011 The second event on the 2011 IBA Grand Slam Tour will get underway in April at the infamous BOX in the Margaret River region of Western Australia. There was a point in time when The Box was once thought unrideable. Surfers would check Margaret River’s main break, occasionally casting a gaze north of the river mouth to catch a momentary glimpse of a thick, round barrel spitting into the channel. Too quick, too shallow, too dangerous; or so they thought. It’s another of those waves that was custom- built for performance bodyboarding. A right-hand reef where swells come out of deep water on to a short and shallow shelf, making the wave heave as wide as it is high.
