AFTRA members gave a thumbs up to the merger by a margin of 86 percent, or 37,000 votes. (A 60 percent threshold was required for passage). Of the 55,000-plus SAG members who voted, 82 percent approved the merger. The results were met with huge cheers at a press conference in Beverly Hills today. Happy Labor Day to everyone, today we have 1-3' swell in the North Shore and some spots looks pretty fun for last days of summer, I took the shots at the sand bar of Pupukea and probably Ill be there this afternoon, I rode Logs this morning and before the wind comes out it was pretty fun, also I saw some small fun walls in Rockys and Kemies, good for last days of summer here in the North Shore...Aloha...
