Executive Producer (Oahu)

KHNL/KGMB, Hawaii News Now, is seeking the right person for our hyper-local morning news program. Responsibilities include overseeing editorial content and monitoring the construction of newscast; monitoring and supervising daily show crew; monitor developing stories and crew logistics; provide coaching and training for line producers; coordinate scheduling of staff; responsible for our news product across all platforms to ensure quality control and maximize added value on Hawaii News Now. Will collaborate as a key part of the news management team to develop specials and other programming, such as sports, weather and election news specials. Bachelors degree in Communications, Journalism or related area; significant experience in line producing; news management experience; Valid drivers license and clean driving abstract; Local Hawaii market TV news experience desired. Hawaii News Now, servicing KHNL (NBC), KGMB (CBS) and KFVE (MNT) is seeking a highly motivated News Operations Manager to lead our talented group of photographers and editors. This key newsroom manager must have proven news judgement, organizational skills and technical experience to oversee all logistics for our wide-ranging news coverage. Applicants must have 5-7 years of television news management experience, possess strong people skills, and ability to train and coach in shooting, editing and live truck operations.
