New ABC Television series "OFF THE MAP" is currently filming Season 1 on Oahu.

TAG Seeks Actors for GEM OF THE OCEAN
We are looking for six actors for this stirring, beautiful play, set in 1904, the first historically in August Wilson’s chronicle of the African American experience in the 20th century.
AUDITION: SATURDAY, DECEMBER 4, 1:30 PM
OR BY APPOINTMENT.
You do not need any prepared material.

Rehearsal and performance commitment is from early January – with a few meetings in December - until March 13th, 2011.

THE ROLES:
Aunt Ester Tyler – (African American)A very old, yet vital spiritual advisor for the community. Role requires singing.
Solly Two Kings – (African American) suitor to Aunt Ester, former Underground Railroad conductor.
Eli – (African American) Aunt Ester’s gatekeeper and longtime friend of Solly.
Citizen Barlow – (African American) A young man from Alabama who is in spiritual turmoil.
Ceasar Wilks – (African American) The local constable.
Rutherford Selig – WHITE - A traveling peddler and frequent visitor of the house.
