Save The Waves Coalition is proud to present Save The Waves Film Festival on Friday, November 12, at the historic Victoria Theatre in San Francisco. This second-annual festival is back by popular demand and features an evening of inspiring environmental films, adventure films and surf films. The evening kicks off with live music by local San Francisco superstars  My Peoples , (formerly Kapakahi) and a party to benefit Save The Waves. Save The Waves Film Festival is excited to announce the US premiere of Australian Dave Rastovich’s newest film,  Transparent Sea . The festival also features a special screening of  180˚ South  and question and answer sessions with the filmmakers and stars of the films. The festival short film program will be announced soon.

Pipeline Underground Film Festival.

The Pipeline Underground Film Fest is back again on October 26, 2010 at the Pipeline Café in Honolulu, HI. They are still accepting submissions for this Halloween Themed Short Film Showcase...  PUFF Goes 6 Feet Underground !     Films are FREE to submit, should be 15 minutes or less and (for this event only) should be spooky, scary, ghoulish, demented, crazy or even spoofy.    Submit films to  pipelineundergroundfilmfest@gmail.com .  Tickets to attend are $7, however if you email  PUFFmarketing@gmail.com , you will be put on the email list and will receive a  PUFF, PUFF Pass  that will bring the cost down to ONLY $4! DRESS UP!    There will be a costume contest for the Best Character Impersonator!    Winners will receive gift certificates from one of their sponsors.
