Adriano de Souza (BRA), 24, has won the Billabong Rio Pro over Taj Burrow (AUS), 32, in tricky two-to-three foot (1 metre) waves at Barra Da Tijuca and the win catapults the Brazilian atop the ASP World Title Rankings. The Billabong Rio Pro, stop No. 3 of 11 on the men’s ASP World Title Series, saw the world’s best surfers tackle a variety of conditions after a week of lay days and ran at both the lefthander of Arpoador and the tricky beachbreak of Barra Da Tijuca over four consecutive days to decide the 2011 Billabong Rio Pro winner. De Souza, who was a standout throughout the Billabong Rio Pro, won several close heats on the final day of competition before scalping a commanding victory over Burrow with the support of a massive Brazilian crowd behind him.

You’ve seen Jamie O’Brien’s third and best biopic,  Who is JOB , right?  Did you manage to work out what was going on in that intimate inside-the-tube footage from Teahupoo? Many big hitters reckon it might be the best water cinematography of all time… When a Red Bull boat trip in the Mentawai islands featured a matinee screening of  Who is JOB? , the arrow-back button copped a workout followed by intense discussion of three waves in particular. The footage featured an empty in-the-tube-looking-out shot where Jamie appears in the tube and frame. Bruce Irons thought the footage was the result of a creatively placed GoPro or even an Immer Secam with 360-degree vision but figured it was impossible because of its size. New Trailer: Batman Returns In 'The Dark Knight Rises'.

Batman returns! Warner Bros. has releases the first teaser trailer for the highly anticipated 'The Dark Knight Rises' from director Christopher Nolan -- watch now! Christian Bale  returns as Bruce Wayne/Batman in what is being called "the epic conclusion to the Dark Knight legend." This time around, the caped crusader reportedly goes up against Anne Hathaway   as Selina Kyle  (aka Catwoman) and buffed-up bad guy Bane ( 'Inception' star  Tom Hardy), who is featured in the trailer. Gary Oldman, Michael Caine, Morgan Freeman, Joseph Gordon-Levitt, Matthew Modine and Marion Cotillard round out the top-notch cast. 'The Dark Knight Rises' swoops into theaters July 20, 2012.
