The Sintra Portugal Pro Update.

Round 4 of the Ladies (WWT) and Round 1 and 2 of the Mens (GSS) of the 2011 Sintra Portugal Pro ran in building 4-6 foot shifty waves today. The first heat of the day saw Catarina Sousa (POR), winner of this event in 2009, take down Akiko Sato (JAP) in the first of the woman on woman Round 4 heats. Sousa commented: ” The first heat is always hard, but I won and now I am feeling confident for my next heat. Finding herself in the final 8 and on the opposite side of the draw to 2010 World Champion, Isabela Sousa (Ceara / BRA), the Portuguese competitor added,  “I hope to win this competition again”. Other highlights in the Ladies division saw Eunate Aguirre (ESP) and Isabela Sousa (Ceara / BRA) committing to powerful and fluid riding, executing big rolls and tight pocket spins to take out their Round 4 heats. Open Call Casting - Aloha Tower/Honolulu.

OPEN CALL CASTING: Looking for: Young, 18-30 year old Caucasian men to portray military men. (willing to cut hair if necessary).   Military men are definitely welcome. PLEASE FEEL FREE TO INVITE other friends whom might match this description and have interest in working on a film production. Open casting session will be held on WED: July 27th: 10am-6pm on the 2nd floor of the Aloha Tower - Aloha Lounge. (Go up the escalator as you enter the mall, turn left at the top and the "Aloha Room" is about 20 yards ahead.) - Independent feature movie currently in production in L.A. - World War II drama directed by Paul Thomas Anderson - Hawaii scene set in 1944 - Starring Joaquin Phoenix and Philip Seymour Hoffman Please bring a snapshot.   Pictures will be taken to send to L.A.
