Waymea and Shorebreak wake up today, a 10' swell is bumping some good waves and washing all the sand at Pipeline, Backdoor and Off The Wall, the big waves riders of Waymea finally need to work hard today all day long, looks like tomorrow Pipeline will be the spot with the arriving of NW swell in the island.

ABC television series 'The River' will film in Hawaii

  Courtesy: ABC Television "The River," a new ABC series starring Bruce Greenwood as a wildlife expert who goes missing in the Amazon, is relocating to Hawaii. The pilot was filed in Puerto Rico. "The River," an ABC television show described as an adventure-mystery set in the Amazon jungle, is relocating production to Hawaii, network representatives said. The pilot for the show, which stars Bruce Greenwood as a wildlife expert and TV host who goes missing, was shot in Puerto Rico, but plans to move to Hawaii had been rumored in March. Network spokeswoman Erin Felentzer confirmed the move today, adding that shooting will begin in August with the series premiere scheduled for midseason. The new campaign, called “The Chosen,” is Nike’s largest effort at moving into action sports, and will feature athletes like the skateboarder Paul Rodriguez (or P-Rod), the surfer Laura Enever and the snowboarder Danny Kass. “When we looked at action sports, we saw a unique consumer segment that was underserved in terms of product innovation,” Mark G.
