Yehhh guys I still out of Hawaii cruising around California, yesterday me and my crew of Genesis Bodyboards stop by Oceanside for meetings with some of the best people I had meet in United States, the waves in Oceanside actually was pretty fun, it was the best waves I saw in this trip between South and Central Cali, also they was runing a surf contest there, then we drove all the way to Huntington Beach but the waves was pretty small but lots of beautifull people as usual and lots of good stores and places to get good times in a saturday evening, we drove and sleept in Los Angeles and we checked Beverly Hills last night, today we gonna be cruising in LA, sleep here and get the flight on monday to New York City, I'm really enjoying this trip around the west and east coasts and I'll be sharing with all u guys, Big Aloha and see u soon in the Islands...

Film Independent announces lineup for Los Angeles Film Festival.

"Magic Mike," Steven Soderbergh's dramatic comedy set in the world of male strippers, will have its world premiere as the closing night program of the Los Angeles Film Festival next month. The film, which stars Matthew McConaughey and Channing Tatum, opens theatrically on June 29. The festival, June 14-24 at L.A. Live's Regal Cinemas downtown as well as at the Los Angeles County Museum of Art and REDCAT, announced its lineup Tuesday morning. Film Independent, which presents the festival, previously had announced the opening night presentation (Woody Allen's "To Rome With Love") and its three galas ("Beasts of the Southern Wild," "Middle of Nowhere" and "Seeking a Friend for the End of the World"). The fest, sponsored by the Los Angeles Times, will screen more than 200 features, shorts and music videos. Alex Uranga Wins 2011 Nissan Reunion Bodyboard Pro!

Alex Uranga from the Basque Country in northern Spain is the winner of the   2011 Nissan Reunion Bodyboard Pro at Les Archers in Saint-Pierre, Reunion. Uranga, 22, who won the trials into the main event, took his winning streak all the way to the final, defeating Jake Stone from Dunsborough in Western Australia, with minutes to go, in glassy four to six foot waves. The Basque was carried on the shoulders of his brother and a friend from the water’s edge to the presentation area while the crowd whistled and cheered for him. He dedicated his win to all the people who believed in him back in the Basque Country. “It’s incredible”, said Alex Uranga, “I can’t put these feelings into words”. Jake Stone, 22, beat reigning world champion and local, Amaury Lavernhe in the quarterfinal and Frenchman Pierre-Louis Costes in the semifinal.
