Tom Cruise climbs to death-defying heights in the new 'Mission: Impossible – Ghost Protocol,' and we have the kick-ass trailer! Yep, that's really him up there on the world's tallest building in Dubai…
In 'Mission: Impossible – Ghost Protocol,' Tom's Ethan Hunt is joined by a new IMF team (Jeremy Renner,Paula Patton and Simon Pegg) as they face their most impossible mission yet. After the Kremlin is destroyed, the IMF is implicated in a global terrorist bombing plot and shut down. "Ghost Protocol" is initiated, meaning that Hunt and his rogue team must go undercover -- completely off the grid with no help from the U.S. government -- to clear their organization's name and track down the real terrorists out to incite global nuclear war.
Produced by J.J. Abrams (who directed the last 'Mission: Impossible installment) and directed by Brad Bird ('The Incredibles'), 'Mission: Impossible – Ghost Protocol' features scenes shot with IMAX cameras, which will expand on screen to reveal even more detail and highlight the jaw-dropping action.
The film explodes into theaters this December, and the trailer, which can be seen before 'Transformers: Dark of the Moon,' incorporates some of the incredible IMAX footage.

"Magic Mike," Steven Soderbergh's dramatic comedy set in the world of male strippers, will have its world premiere as the closing night program of the Los Angeles Film Festival next month. The film, which stars Matthew McConaughey and Channing Tatum, opens theatrically on June 29. The festival, June 14-24 at L.A. Live's Regal Cinemas downtown as well as at the Los Angeles County Museum of Art and REDCAT, announced its lineup Tuesday morning. Film Independent, which presents the festival, previously had announced the opening night presentation (Woody Allen's "To Rome With Love") and its three galas ("Beasts of the Southern Wild," "Middle of Nowhere" and "Seeking a Friend for the End of the World"). The fest, sponsored by the Los Angeles Times, will screen more than 200 features, shorts and music videos. Alex Uranga Wins 2011 Nissan Reunion Bodyboard Pro!

Alex Uranga from the Basque Country in northern Spain is the winner of the   2011 Nissan Reunion Bodyboard Pro at Les Archers in Saint-Pierre, Reunion. Uranga, 22, who won the trials into the main event, took his winning streak all the way to the final, defeating Jake Stone from Dunsborough in Western Australia, with minutes to go, in glassy four to six foot waves. The Basque was carried on the shoulders of his brother and a friend from the water’s edge to the presentation area while the crowd whistled and cheered for him. He dedicated his win to all the people who believed in him back in the Basque Country. “It’s incredible”, said Alex Uranga, “I can’t put these feelings into words”. Jake Stone, 22, beat reigning world champion and local, Amaury Lavernhe in the quarterfinal and Frenchman Pierre-Louis Costes in the semifinal.
